My family and I are entering a time of transition. We have made a decision to leave our current ministry and to seek God for his will in our lives, not knowing at this time exactly what that is. For those who know us, they realize that this is out of the ordinary for us. I am the type of person that likes to have all my ducks in a row and know how many feathers each one has it. Let’s just say, I don’t like surprises! But with God there are always surprises.
We will embark on this journey and I am sure there will be days when the adventure is wonderfully amazing, and then there will be days where we wonder and doubt, asking ourselves if we made the right decision. We just know that God is bigger than all of it and He has his best thoughts and plans ahead!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:11-13
